Simon Firth – Circles EP

LuPS 045 brings a two track EP from upcoming UK producer Simon Firth. He returns to LuPS with two very fine Prog Tech House tracks called Circles and Golden.

Both Originals are true type Simon Firth styled tracks. Deep, dark, grinding and hypnotizing. They simply don’t let you go.

Alongside the Originals you’ll find remixes from Gosh & Kanov, Matt Black, Loquai and Trim The Fat.

The remixes of Gosh & Kanov of Circles and Golden are very welldone. Containing the original samples Gosh managed to give his remixes his own typical deep vibe and atmosphere.

Matt Black his re-interpretation of Golden is simply effective. After a long intro a trippy and hypnotizing groove takes of. On top an arped and morphed synthline is going up and down. Simply but very effective. This remix is a monster in disguise and when played on the right moment you surely lose your head.

The remix of Loquai is just in one word amazing. This is quality music for a mindless convertible car ride with your wife along the coast line on a late night summerevening. Very well produced and ballanced sounds. Once again a timeless piece of music.

The last remix which completes this release very well comes from Trim The Fat. He managed to turn Circles into a superb dancefloor bomb!! If this track doesn’t make you move then you are simply lost for ever. This remix has only been made for just one purpose and that is dancefloor madness. A deep resonating baseline and very well arranged slick percussion are doing it here. This is peaktime stuff!!!
